Monolite completes 2021 season – 31 Oct 2021

Monolite completes 2021 season, looks forward to 2022

Monolite Racing completed the 2021 Formula Regional European by Alpine championship today at Monza. It was a learning year for the young Italian squad led by Rudi Mariotto, as it entered one of the leading series in open-wheel racing, a top-level European competition. Monolite had its main stalwart in Italian Pietro Delli Guanti, while the second car featured Swissman, Jasin Ferati, Mexican Josè Garfias, and Englishman Dexter Patterson.

The team based in Veneto has grown race after race, bringing home points in Spa with Patterson and in Spielberg and at Mugello with Delli Guanti. In the end, it finished 10th out of the 12 teams registered for the series with 24 points. Not bad at all, considering Monolite’s little international experience. Preparations have already started for 2022: tomorrow, Monday 1st of November, a test day will be held in Monza, featuring some new driving talent.
